Pope Leo XIV's encyclical *Magnifica Humanitas* calls for a partnership between AI development and religious traditions to establish stable guardrails and prevent social backlash. In devout regions choosing between U.S. and Chinese technology stacks, integrating faith is a crucial geopolitical strategy that has been largely ignored by the West.

In contrast to Western skepticism, Asian nations integrate cultural spirit with technology, leading to greater public optimism toward AI. According to a Pew Research survey, only 28% of Japanese, 19% of Indians, and 16% of South Koreans are "more concerned than excited" about AI.

Conversely, public concern about AI is significantly higher in the West, reaching 50% in the United States, 45% in Canada, and 39% in Britain. To build broader trust, the technology industry must design more open platforms that accommodate diverse global religious traditions and standards.
