Apple also unveiled the new AirPods 5 earbuds, delivering 50% stronger noise reduction to achieve market-leading noise cancellation among open-ear designs alongside enhanced acoustic detail. The standard model is priced at $129 with up to 20 hours total playback, while the $149 upgraded variant adds on-earbud volume controls, wireless case charging, and five hours of continuous listening, with both models supporting hands-free Siri AI and live translation starting September 18.
