Currently, many young people are facing a future dominated by a handful of artificial intelligence companies, while many universities are responding with suspicion by restricting or banning these technologies in classrooms. However, a better approach is to teach students how to evaluate and control these systems. The concept of the loop mentioned by Microsoft's CEO suggests that organizations should combine their own expertise with AI and continuously evaluate its performance to ensure it serves their goals, thereby maintaining sovereignty.

In a teaching experiment at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the author encouraged students to build their own evaluation criteria to test leading AI models. Drawing on their personal passions and expertise, students designed diverse tests on various topics. This not only cultivated their ability to systematically test the technology but also taught them how to personally hold powerful models accountable.

While foundational knowledge still needs to be built through traditional courses where AI is prohibited, teaching students to actively evaluate AI technology is equally essential. The author hopes that every university student will build at least one evaluation before graduating. Only those who have the ability to measure these systems and bend them to their own purposes will truly remain in charge of their destiny in the age of AI.
