Luxor Technology is building a new business around artificial-intelligence computing infrastructure, helping companies source GPUs and finance AI data centers. The company, which originally aimed to help Bitcoin miners trade hardware, is pivoting due to soaring GPU demand.

Since launching the venture six months ago, Luxor has arranged $213 million of AI hardware deals and signed $25 million of contracted computing-power agreements. This highlights the significant potential of crypto firms pivoting toward the AI computing sector.

Other crypto firms are also expanding into the AI computing power sector and building markets around it, including spot marketplaces, benchmark indexes, and regulated futures contracts. For instance, Carmen Li's companies are working with Don Wilson to establish a GPU procurement market and pricing index.
