黑石集团（Blackstone）最高阶私募股权主管约瑟夫·巴拉塔（Joseph Baratta）正准备在今年底前离开这家管理资产规模达 1.3 兆美元的投资巨头。巴拉塔在黑石任职近三十年，身为薪酬最高的高管之一，去年总收入达 8,160 万美元，外界普遍预期他将转战公共服务或政治领域。

Having spent nearly three decades at the firm and earning $81.6 million last year, Baratta is exploring opportunities to enter public service and politics.

Blackstone has officially confirmed Baratta’s departure and does not intend to appoint a direct replacement, opting instead to have the private equity unit led by current heads, including Martin Brand. His planned exit adds to a notable wave of senior departures at the firm over the past year, which also saw the loss of co-heads of its real estate division.

Despite muted private equity returns and broader industry hurdles in liquidating mature assets, Blackstone has recently advanced several high-profile public listings from its portfolio. During his leadership, Baratta spearheaded key expansions into entertainment, life sciences, and Asian markets with mixed outcomes, while actively contributing to political campaigns across both major parties.
