尽管已经释出数亿美元的援助资金,但行政程序和支付问题导致部分前线医护人员罢工,影响了防疫行动。目前当局正积极解决薪资问题,并已经开始为医护人员与第一线应对人员接种疫苗。

The Ebola epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo may be three times larger than official figures indicate. While authorities have recorded over 5,700 confirmed cases and 2,700 deaths, weak contact tracing and undetected infections suggest a much larger scale, with the fatality rate climbing to 48%.
Response efforts are hindered by hidden community spread and uneven resource distribution. Up to 70% of new infections are discovered in communities rather than among known contacts. The UN Secretary-General has urged the international community to overcome the "virus of indifference" and provide more substantial support.
Despite hundreds of millions of dollars in released funding, administrative bottlenecks and unpaid frontline workers have disrupted response operations, even causing strikes. Authorities are now working to resolve these payment issues and have initiated vaccination campaigns for health workers and first responders.
