Developed from self-driving vehicle systems, Nvidia's Halos software runs on its IGX Thor hardware, significantly improving robots' situational awareness and overcoming the limitations of current safety systems that stop upon human proximity.

Although humanoid robotics still faces major technical hurdles, the market potential is massive, with Barclays estimating $200 billion in revenue by 2035, prompting Nvidia to set up a safety-testing lab to help manufacturers secure certifications.
