By 2025, AI will be deeply integrated into children's lives, ranging from AI-enabled toys in China to personalized classroom materials and chatbot tutors. These innovations may enhance literacy and adapt lessons for various audiences, potentially changing education accessibility.

However, risks accompany these advancements. AI toys can produce inappropriate content, and students might misuse them for cheating and harassment. Interestingly, a significant portion of American teens find interactions with AI companions as fulfilling as conversations with friends, making it easier than engaging with their parents.

As algorithms tailor content to children's preferences, echo chambers form, reducing chance encounters and limiting social skills necessary for relationships. This is especially concerning with declining birth rates and fewer siblings, as many adults begin to shy away from romance.
