CES runs Jan. 6–9, 2026 in Las Vegas, and major tech companies including Nvidia, AMD, Samsung, and Lenovo will use the show to sell AI not just to investors and enterprise buyers but also to ordinary shoppers who still need convincing. As usual, announcements will span near-term products and concept devices that may never ship. The through-line is a push to make AI the primary selling point, not a bonus feature.
AI-first personal hardware will be heavily represented, especially smart glasses and other form factors meant to access assistants without pulling out a phone. Meta is not expected to launch new hardware so soon after debuting its first glasses with a built-in screen, priced at $799, though it may preview software updates. Snap is unlikely to reveal pricing or availability for its consumer “Specs,” planned for 2026, but attendees should be able to see them in person. Smaller brands like Xreal and Vuzix may drive much of the headline volume.
Robotics will be big enough that the CTA is dedicating an entire hall to it, spanning home concepts and enterprise uses such as manufacturing, logistics, and food service, plus robotic cafés and convenience stores. Companion robots (including Tombot’s Jennie dog for aging and dementia) will also appear, even as gaps persist between controlled demos and long-term promises; some makers are moving from single tasks to multi-step routines like sorting and folding laundry. Elsewhere, TVs may shift emphasis from raw brightness to richer color reproduction, Motorola could tease a book-style foldable, and wearables will lean more medical, tracking signals like sleep apnea events, heart rate, respiration, and sleep cycles.
