在社会保障体系方面，截至九月底，中国基本养老保险覆盖人数已达10.79亿人；失业保险参保人数达2.51亿人；工伤保险（涵盖职业伤害保障）覆盖人数则达到3.27亿人，持续为庞大劳动人口提供各项制度性基础保障。
China's human resources authorities announced at a State Council briefing that the country will launch an employment initiative aimed at adapting workforce skills to the rapid development of artificial intelligence. Officials noted that the overall employment situation remains stable, with 10.52 million urban jobs created in the first nine months of the year, completing 87.7% of the annual target.
To further support the labor market, the government plans to implement targeted assistance programs for university graduates and other young jobseekers, while enhancing job quality for flexible workers and individuals in non-traditional employment. Authorities will also study measures to boost service sector employment, stabilize labor-intensive industries, and create new roles in emerging and future sectors.
Regarding social security expansion, official statistics show that basic pension insurance covered 1.079 billion people by the end of September. Meanwhile, unemployment insurance enrollment reached 251 million people, and work-injury insurance, including occupational-injury protection programs, covered 327 million individuals across the country.
